Kings O’Leon
No doubt, my favorite band making music right now. Their new album is out September 23rd… I think that would make a good birthday gift, no? The new tune on their myspace is killer.
Love it.

I cannot begin to describe the experience we had at church this morning. God’s presence was drenched all over the atmosphere at both Elevation campuses today, and all I was able to do was to stand in wonder at being a part of what is going on in Charlotte.
Chris Brown has a similar post/experience on his site… but this is the second time I’ve been a part of in-service baptisms at Elevation. The first time was last Spring during the Deep series, and it was the first time that God quickened my heart to the realization that He wanted Meredith and I to be a part of this church. Before that, I had only been a contract player, coming in from Columbia every week, not really plugged in, not really involved.
After being a witness to what He did last Spring, and what He began doing today, I am only reaffirmed in the fact that Charlotte is my home now. We are seeing an awakening in this city. I really believe that this city is going to experience an anointed revival and spark hope in other major cities across the nation. Charlotte is not too big for God to radically take over.
YouTubeFest is officially over. I just needed an excuse to blog everyday and amusing videos seemed the best route. I think there were more videos than there were words. Now back to reality.
Just saw this show recently for the first time. I’m pretty sure it’s right up my alley.
Side note: just cause they have one good show, doesn’t mean mtv isn’t evil.
Remember that SNL parody commercial about the KFC Shredders. “ …juicy iceberg lettuce and tangy mayonnaise served in a bag. It’ll rock your world!” I can’t seem to find a clip of this anywhere. Bummer.
Well, this has nothing to do with KFC shredders, but different shredders altogether. This one’s a little long (and old news) but you must watch at least until the 1:11 minute mark. I was crying.
… in a public setting. For this very reason. This is for CB.
In honor of Shark Week next week, which I can’t watch, cause of the no cable laws of my house. “Live every week like it’s shark week.”
In honor of the best comic book movie ever being released this past week:
