Food Preparation / Food Organization

Join us as we sort and pack donated food items with the Capital Area Food Bank. The food will be distributed to families who lack access to fresh food within the community. The Capital Area Food Bank leads the region’s efforts to provide equitable access to food and opportunity to people struggling with hunger and food insecurity. Closed-toe shoes are required and volunteers must be a minimum of 12 years of age with an adult or 18 years of age. Parking will be available on-site. A waiver will be provided to the volunteers by the host. Please contact the host at the email provided with any questions.
