Gratitude the Sticks

As parents, we get an incredible opportunity to show our kids what thankfulness looks like in everyday life. When we pause to thank God for His faithfulness with our kids, we’re teaching them that every good thing comes from Him — not by accident, but by His goodness and grace.

James 1:17 reminds us, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”

Gratitude isn’t just something we express; it’s something that takes root in our hearts when we slow down and recognize God’s hand in both the big and small moments.

This month, take time as a family to practice gratitude in simple, meaningful ways — pray together, serve with one of our outreach partners, or write a note to someone who's made an impact on your life!
