What We Are Learning In Babies :: December Week 1

We’re Learning… God gave us Jesus.
Bible Story: Baby Jesus Is Born ● Luke 2:1-7

As a family, read “Baby Jesus is Born” — Luke 2:1-7 from a children’s Bible. (CLICK HERE for children’s Bible recommendations.) 

After reading the Bible story, complete the activity together:

Coloring Activity:

Supplies Needed: coloring page, crayons

• Before the activity, print the coloring page. Then set the crayons out for your toddler.

• Say, “Let’s color this picture to help us remember God gave us Jesus!”

• Give your toddler the coloring page and encourage them to color it.

• After your toddler has finished coloring, ask the following questions:

• “Who is the baby in the picture?” (Jesus)

• “Who gave us Jesus?” (God)

• Say, “Great job! This picture will help us remember God loves us, and He gave us Jesus! Who gave us Jesus?” Encourage your toddler to say, “God gave us Jesus!”
