April Overview: Jesus’ miracles weren’t just amazing moments — they showed who He is, revealing His greatness and power.

As a family, read “Jesus is Alive” (Luke 24:1-12, 36-49) together. Then, watch this week’s lesson video on the eKidz Online YouTube page to continue the conversation.

Bible Story: Jesus is Alive (Luke 24:1-12, 36-49)
Main Point: Jesus is greater than death.
Memory Verse: “Lord, there is no one like you! You are great, and your name is full of power.” Jeremiah 10:6 (NLT)

This week, kids learned a very important truth — Jesus is alive! After Jesus died on the cross, His friends were sad and confused. But when they discovered the empty tomb and saw Jesus alive again, everything changed. This story shows us that Jesus has power even over death. And because He is alive, He isn’t far away — He is with us, cares about us, and wants to be our friend. We can trust Him completely because He is greater than anything we face.

💬 Family discussion questions:

  1. What did Jesus’ friends find at the tomb that was so amazing?

  2. Why is it important that Jesus is alive?

  3. How does knowing Jesus is alive change the way we can talk to Him or trust Him?

🕰 Engage in everyday moments together this week:

  • When You Get Up: Tell your kid, “Jesus is alive, and He is with you today!”

  • While You’re At Home: Talk about why Easter is one of the most important celebrations for us.

  • As You’re On The Way: Ask, “What does it mean that Jesus is greater than death?”

  • When You Lie Down: Pray, “Jesus, thank You for being alive. Thank You that You are always with us and we can trust You no matter what.”
