Scripture: Luke 15:11-32 (The Prodigal Son)
Focus: Jesus told a story to show that God’s love is forgiving and full of grace.
Bottom Line: Jesus teaches us that God welcomes us back and gives us a new start.
Application: We can always turn back to God because He loves us and forgives us.
This week, kids will hear the story of the Prodigal Son — a son who decided to leave his family but was welcomed home with love and joy when he returned. Jesus used this story to help us understand what God’s love is really like. God doesn’t turn us away when we mess up. Instead, He invites us back, forgives us, and gives us a fresh start. This truth helps kids know we can always come to God, no matter what.
