Scripture:
Mark 4:35-41 (Jesus Calms the Storm)
Focus:
Jesus used His power to calm a scary storm and bring peace. He is bigger than anything we fear.
Bottom Line:
I don’t have to be afraid — God is bigger than any fear.
Application:
I can turn to God when I’m afraid because He has power over everything.
In this week’s lesson, kids will learn that when fear rises, we can turn to Jesus. He brings us peace, and He is more powerful than the storm.
💬 Family discussion questions:
- What did the disciples do when the storm hit? What did Jesus do?
- What’s something that sometimes makes you afraid? What can you do this week to turn to God when you feel afraid?
- What are some ways you can remind yourself to turn to God? (e.g., leave notes around your room, tell each other throughout the day, wear a bracelet with the word “turn” on it, etc.)
