Scripture: Luke 15:11-24 (The Prodigal Son)
Focus: The father welcomed the younger son back with open arms. God’s love and care never run out — He’s always ready to forgive.
Bottom Line: God cares about me no matter what I’ve done.
Application: I can always go to God, no matter what, because His love and care never change.
This week’s lesson reminds kids that God’s care isn’t based on what they do — it’s based on who He is. No mistake can separate them from His love.
💬 Family discussion questions:
How did the father show care to his son when he came back?
Why do you think God forgives us when we make mistakes?
How does it feel to know God’s care never runs out?
🕰 Engage in everyday moments together this week:
Morning Time: Say: “No matter what happens today, God cares for you.”
Mealtime: Ask, “What’s one thing you’d want to tell God about your day?”
Drive Time: Talk about times you’ve needed forgiveness and how it felt.
Bedtime: Pray: “God, thank You for always caring for us, no matter what we’ve done.”
