June Overview: This month, preschoolers will learn that God can be trusted no matter what happens. Sometimes we feel afraid, sad, or alone. But God is always with us and helps us. God’s got this!

Bible Story: Moses (Exodus 3; 4:1–12)
Main Point: I can trust God when things are hard.
Memory Verse: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5 (NIV)

As a family, read the Bible story together. Then, watch this week’s lesson video on the eKidz Online YouTube page to continue the conversation.

This week, children heard how Moses didn’t think he could do what God asked him to do. Moses felt unsure, but God told him He would help him. This story helps us understand that when things feel hard, we can trust God to help us.

💬 Family discussion questions:

  1. What happened in the Bible story? (God asked Moses to do something, and Moses felt unsure, but God helped him.)

  2. Did God help Moses when things felt hard? (yes)

  3. When things feel hard, can you trust God? (yes)

🕰 Engage in everyday moments together this week:

  • When You Get Up: When your child wakes up, say, “Good morning! If something feels hard today, remember, you can trust God. He is with you no matter what!”

  • While You’re At Home: When your child says, “I can’t” or feels frustrated, gently remind them, “God helps us.” Encourage them to try again and pray together.

  • As You’re On The Way: As you drive or walk, talk about something new your child is learning. Say, “Even when things feel hard, God is with us, and we can trust Him.”

  • When You Lie Down: At bedtime, ask, “What felt hard today?” Then remind your child, “God was with you.” Pray together, “Dear God, thank You for helping us. Help us trust You when things are hard. We love You. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.”
