Running For A Reason

Sermon Highlights 

• David ran towards what others were running from. We are all running from something. 

• David was in a cave, yet he was chosen to be a king. Don't let the place you're in make you confused about the person you are. 

• If God did it for David, we can expect him to do it for us too. We are chosen while we are being chased. 

• You can be used by God and confused at the same time – do it confused!

• You’ve been running with weights that God does not intend for you to carry. Drop them and put them behind you so you can run your race!  

• What will be true of you in the future is true of you right now. 

• God will cover you in every place that He calls you to.

Pastor Steven ended his message by saying “this cave is closed for business” illustrating that it is time to take a step forward! What is one step you need to take this week to run YOUR race? 

Pray that God will remind each eGroup member that their race is unique to them and there is something amazing in front of them. If they are feeling attacks from the enemy, it is because God has put something significant in them. They can praise God in the place where they are trusting God’s plan for their life.
