Read Mark 12:41-44. What might have looked like a small thing was actually a very bold step by the widow. What can we learn from this?
Big steps require boldness. When you think about faith, what could be some examples of “big steps”? How can those also build our faith when we do them?
Mary didn't argue with Judas or defend herself — she focused on Jesus. When you face criticism for your faith choices, what can help you stay focused on your relationship with God rather than getting defensive or worried about what others think? How can this actually build our faith rather than tear it down?
Pray: Jesus, show us where in our life we can take big steps in boldness that will both show our faith and grow our faith. Help us see where we need to make bold moves for You and the calling You’ve given each of us. In Your name we pray, amen.
