eFam Philadelphia – Cook and Serve Lunch with Small Things Emmanuel Meal Service

Join us as we cook and serve a free, hot lunch with Emmanuel Meal Service. Volunteers will help prepare food in the kitchen under the lead chef, plate and serve the meal, and with clean-up. No previous cooking experience necessary! The Emmanuel program exists to serve marginalized populations in Center City, particularly individuals experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Volunteers are needed to help guests check-in/out and shop the pantry. The kitchen is located on the second floor of Resurrection Church and validation will be provided for the Liberty Place Parkway garage about a block away. Please wear closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair. This is a family-friendly event. Please contact the host at the email provided with any questions.
