Food & Kitchen Prep at the Rescue Mission of Roanoke

Food Preparation / Food Organization

Volunteers will have the opportunity to prep food for lunch that will be distributed to the guests of the shelter. Everyone must wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. Volunteers are needed to serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner 365 days a year. The Rescue Mission provides safe shelter for over 200 men, women, and children every day. Parking is available on the street and in the parking lots at the Rescue Mission. You must be 14 years or older to serve. Donuts and coffee will be provided. Please wear your LOVE Week t-shirt or your favorite Elevation t-shirt and contact the event host at the email provided with any questions.
