eFam- DC Food Packaging with Capital Area Food Bank

Join us as we sort and pack donated food items with DC Capital Area Food Bank. The food will be distributed to families who lack access to fresh food within the community. The Capital Area Food Bank leads our region’s efforts to provide equitable access to food and opportunity to people struggling with hunger and food insecurity. Closed-toe shoes and mask/face coverings are required. This volunteer experience involves some heavy lifting and lots of standing and walking. Volunteers must be at least 12 years of age to volunteer. All under the age of 18 must be accompanied by and actively supervised by a parent or legal guardian. Parking will be available on-site.
