A Grown-Up’s guide to meaningful friendships

Life is better with good company

Friendships aren’t found; they’re formed. Discover how you can experience true friendships the way God intended.

Week 1 Good Company

Week 1

Week 1 discusses the impact of friendships on our personal journey through life. Pastor Holly shares Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 and reminds us how important it is to do life with others - the way God intended. She addresses common myths about adult friendships and reminds us of the value of investing in relationships in our lives.

Week 2 - My Most Important Relationship

Week 2

Week 2 dives into the most important relationship we have: our relationship with God. Pastor Holly shares how this relationship lays the groundwork for all other friendships. Like King David, we have countless ways to deepen our connection with God.

Week 3 - The Friend Zone

Week 3

In week 3, we evaluate who the people are in our lives right now. Understanding the dynamics of each zone is crucial for deeper connections. Proverbs 13:20 reminds us to choose our companions wisely, and Pastor Holly teaches how to classify our friends into friendship zones.

Week 4 - What's it like to be friends with me?

Week 4

In week 4, we reflect on the type of friend we are to the people in our lives. Pastor Holly explores five key foundations of friendship—stability, vulnerability, intentionality, grace, and celebration—and challenges us to consider how becoming a better friend is the most impactful way to strengthen your friendship with others!

Week 5 - Let Go

Week 5

In Week 5, we discuss how seasons of life change over time, and our friendships do too. But just because relationships can be seasonal, that doesn’t mean we can’t be thankful for the part they play in our lives. Pastor Holly discusses how to “LET GO” and shares how to process the end of friendships and remain open to new ones.
