YTHX 26 Middle School Coming Soon Poster

YTHX26 Middle School

A summer camp like nothing you’ve ever seen.

What exactly is YTHX?

You could call it a camp. You could call it a milestone. Or you could call it a three-day, three-night, all-gas-no-brakes encounter with God. From July 12-15 at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C., middle school students will learn about following Jesus, build friendships, and grow spiritually in ways they’ll still be talking about years later. So picture this: If camp had a double shot of espresso and a whole lot of Jesus, it’d be YTHX — three days of nonstop fun, worship, and spiritual growth.

There will be powerful worship. There will be sound biblical teaching. There will be refreshing and authentic community. And through it all, middle schoolers will discover their purpose and what it means to build active faith and live out their calling.

An experience that delivers what they need

Students will have three days packed full of experiences leading to full hearts, challenged minds, encouraged spirits, and changed futures.

YTHX impacts students and families in ways that change the future for generations. Here’s what some of them have said:

"God led me to get baptized at YTHX. It had been on my heart, and during worship, He gave me the courage to finally step up and do it."

Don’t leave home without the following:
  • Your Bible, notebook, and a pen
  • Sunscreen, workout clothes, tennis shoes, and a water bottle
  • Toothbrush and other toiletries
  • Phone charger
  • Appropriate bathing suits
  • Team colors (e.g., shirts, shorts, flags, face paint, etc.)
  • Towels
  • Shower shoes
  • Bedding
    • Pillow
    • Sheets (twin-size, extra long — 80” x 36”)
    • Blankets
    • Sleeping bag (optional, but a good idea!)

Things to leave at home: weapons, drugs, juuls and vapes, alcohol, lighters, revealing clothing, and bad attitudes.

You can enroll in a monthly payment plan, which allows you to break your payment up into smaller payments throughout the year.

Those who need financial assistance can apply here.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds.

If your student can no longer attend YTHX26, you can send someone in their place by connecting with the YTH Director at your campus.

Protecting our students is our number one priority. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Every adult serving in our youth ministry is required to have a Level 4 background check and complete a mandatory Safety Awareness Training.
  • We’ll have a team dedicated to keeping your youth safe during every part of the event. This includes law enforcement, security staff and volunteers (think hall monitors and night watch), medics, and registered nurses.

  • Youth who take medication must bring only what is needed for the duration of the event in a clear bag.
  • Youth will be responsible for carrying and administering their own medication.
  • If a student needs help with their medication, their eGroup Leader can help administer it with parent consent.
  • All medications must be documented during the bag-check at the campus check-in.

  • Accommodations will be assigned by campuses.
  • Youth will room with other students from their eGroup.
  • Male and female housing will be separate.
  • Leaders will be housed in every dorm.
  • Room Checks will occur every night by eGroup Leaders and security staff and volunteers.
  • If you would like your student to turn in their phone at night, be sure to let their eGroup Leader know. The eGroup Leader will take the phone during the room check and return it to the student the next morning.

If you have any questions, contact your campus YTH Director or email ythx@elevationchurch.org.
